SINAPS (Scientific Initiative for Neuropsychiatric and Psycho-pharmacological Studies) is an Academic Research Organization (ARO) founded by the University Psychiatric Center of Duffel (UPC Duffel) and the psychiatric research department of the University of Antwerp, CAPRI (Collaborative Antwerp Psychiatric Research Institute). 

SINAPS specializes in the development and conduct of both academic and industry-driven scientific studies in the fields of psychiatry and neurology.

As such, we aim to advance fundamental scientific knowledge on the neurobiological underpinnings of psychiatric disorders as well as to contribute to the development of novel psycho-pharmacotherapeutic interventions.
